Breve historia de cómo diez integrantes de la salteña UTD llegaron a estar detenidos.

Desde la madrugada del 2 de diciembre, diez integrantes de la salteña UTD de Mosconi están detenidos. Desde entonces, también, en la puerta del juzgado penal Nª 1 de Tartagal están apostados sus compañeros y familiares, reclamando su liberación. Allí pasaron Navidad y Año Nuevo. Allí siguen exigiendo justicia. En tanto, el juez Nelson Aramayo extiende los plazos de la definición de una causa que nació mal y amenaza con terminar peor. El origen es la protesta que sacudió la ciudad de Mosconi cuando el mismo juez ordenó la detención del mayor referente y más querido dirigente de la UTD, Pepino Fernández. Apenas la policía concretó la orden judicial, la protesta logró su liberación luego de una jornada violenta, donde hasta hubo fuego en las oficinas de las empresas petroleras que dominan a voluntad esa zona. Con las cenizas, llegaron los allanamientos a la madrugada y las detenciones de los 10 miembros de la UTD, acusados ahora de robo, incendio, amenazas e instigación a cometer delitos. La denuncia fue presenta por el abogado de la empresa Tecpetrol, Antonio Restom, quien es el actual representante de la gobernación en Tartagal. En esa zona operan las grandes corporaciones de petróleo: Repsol y Techint, a través de Tecpetrol, la empresa que presentó formalmente la denuncia para encarcelar a los integrantes de la UTD. Se trata de empresas que obtienen ganancias millonarias y de un pueblo empobrecido por la desocupación.
La abogada de la UTD, Mara Puntano, pide la solidaridad de todos, haciendo llegar al juzgado a través del fax 05411- 03875 421 885 la exigencia de justicia. Es decir, la pronta liberación de Oscar Ruiz, Rubén Sedan, Carlos Cabral, Hugo Carabajal, Ramón Maldonado, Antonio Vargas, Victor Chananpa, Rubén Gordiola, Omar Salinas y Daniel Valencia.

Since dawn on November 21, ten members of the Union of Unemployed Workers (Unión de Trabajadores Desocupados - UTD) of Mosconi, Salta, Argentina have been under arrest.
